Linn Storm and her partner and son live in a BoKlok apartment in Sweden. They share with us their interior design style and offer a few ideas for transforming IKEA furniture into bespoke pieces.

Linn and her family have opted for a subdued colour palette, have added attractive, built-in solutions and introduced carefully selected details that mean their home is anything but ordinary!

Linn shares a few tips:

“One of my favourite pieces of furniture is the built-in bookcase we installed in the living room. It’s basically a BILLY bookshelf from IKEA that we built in using strips of wood to join all of the edges for a seamless look. We further enhanced the built-in look by painting all of the walls and the bookshelf in the same colour – a warm, soft beige (Jotun LADY 1140 Sand).”
