Hello! from our Project Team at BoKlok on the Brook.

Works have progressed a long way since our last update, and we’re pleased to tell you works are still progressing well.

Here’s an update of what’s been happening and what to expect!

The site takes shape

The site is starting to look a lot more complete now that the apartment blocks have begun to take their place.

Did you know that by building our homes the way we do (in a factory), we
were able to construct the apartment block on the left of the picture above in just 12 days! Now to completing the interiors and the outside cladding.

Update on site progress

March 2022

  • Houses deployed in the West part of the site off Alard Road and Creswick Road.
  • Road bridge constructed over the Brook on the left hand side of the site.
  • Last apartment block starts to go up.
  • Apartment block 4: cladding going on. (So you’ll start to see it being completed).
  • Surfacing the roads and paths on site.

April 2022

  • BT will be around on Airport Road bringing in new supplies and new cables to our plots.
  • Phase 2A electric and water feeds.

Improvements to the Brook are underway

We have begun to clear parts of Brislington Brook. As part of our wider commitment to the community and the local ecology, we will be making a series of improvements, making it safer and more accessible for the whole community.

Initially, we will be clearing all the weeds and dead trees around the Brook. Following the clearing, we’ll begin reseeding the bank with a pond-mixture.
