We are fundraising for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI)

In recognition of our presence in the town and our sponsorship of the Littlehampton Town Show and Family Fun Day on 9th September 2023, we are fundraising for our local Littlehampton Lifeboat Station!

Littlehampton harbour is just under one mile away from the new homes at Boklok by the Park and offers an array of water activities all year round from dinghy sailing, yachts, workboats and powerboats, to paddleboarding, angling, RNLI lifeboats, jetskis, flyboards, and hovercraft!

The modern Littlehampton Lifeboat Station was established in 1967, and is located on the east side of the River Arun. The station is equipped with an Atlantic 85 lifeboat and D-Class inshore lifeboat.

The volunteer crew at Littlehampton RNLI provide a 24-hour search and rescue service for those who require help in local waters. Littlehampton RNLI is manned entirely by volunteers.

The 50-strong team is made up of men and women from the local community who crew the lifeboats, liaise with the Coastguard, launch the boats, prepare the boats for service, fundraise, run the lifeboat station’s shop, and give guided tours to the public and school groups.
